Job summary

DOOLEYS Clubs in Lidcombe seeks a Business Technology Analyst to support analysis, optimisation and continuous improvement of business processes, information systems and technology solutions.

You will engage stakeholders, document requirements, and translate them into technical specs for ICT development teams, while evaluating systems for efficiency and performance. The role includes BI enhancement, data quality and automation opportunities in a hospitality club environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related field.
• Experience in a business or systems analysis role within an IT or operational environment.
• Experience with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, HR, Finance, POS, or membership management).
• Hospitality/club/service environment experience is desirable.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gaming qualifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• High attention to detail with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Understanding of data reporting tools and database concepts (SQL, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify, analyse and document requirements across processes and systems.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and process reviews to define functional/non-functional requirements.
• Analyse processes, information flows and system functionality to identify inefficiencies and gaps.
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for ICT development teams.
• Evaluate existing systems and propose solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
• Analyse data requirements and improve data quality, accessibility and reporting.
• Support BI reports and dashboards using platforms like Qlik/Power BI.
• Identify opportunities for automation and emerging technologies.
• Assist with implementation, testing and validation of system enhancements.
• Support change management and knowledge transfer.
