Job summary

FMS Field Mining Services Group is seeking an experienced Business Support Officer - Receptionist to cover a maternity leave period at our Mackay region team. The role requires a proactive attitude, strong organisation, and flexibility, with duties spanning reception, deliveries, stationery, mail, purchasing, and admin support.

The successful candidate will be based with the team in Paget, working Monday to Friday, with a monthly rostered day off and a supportive leadership environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar receptionist/administrative role.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Current driver's licence.
• Flexible team player with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk reception and board room presentations.
• Coordinate deliveries and staff arrivals.
• Handle stationery orders and mail.
• Process purchase orders and uniform management.
• Provide admin support to the team.
• Assist with staff functions.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer - Receptionist to join our team. This role is to cover maternity leave and may lead to ongoing employment for the successful candidate. To succeed in the role, you will have a proactive attitude, a strong work ethic, be organised and flexible.

Duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Reception and board room presentations
• Assisting deliveries and personnel coming into the office
• Stationery orders
• Mail - incoming and outgoing
• Purchase orders
• Uniform ordering and management
• Providing admin support to the team
• Assisting with staff functions
