Job summary

Opteon is seeking a Business Support Analyst for a 12-month secondment to broaden exposure to process optimisation, project delivery and data analysis. The role reports to the Head of Business Excellence and offers flexible remote work with occasional office days.

You will document processes, support improvement initiatives and use data insights to inform decisions. The ideal candidate is curious, organised, analytical and eager to learn, with experience in documentation and stakeholder

Are you curious, organised, analytical and comfortable asking questions with a desire to learn new things?The Business Excellence team is looking for someone to join us on a 12-month secondment as a Business Support Analyst, reporting to the Head of Business Excellence. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving the way things work and working with people across different parts of the business. You don’t need to have every skill or experience listed below — we’re particularly interested in people who are curious, willing to learn and keen to develop their capability across process improvement, project management and analytics.The ideal start date for the role is 9th November. The role has a flexible remote working arrangement, however the ideal candidate will be able to work at times from one of the Opteon offices.What you’ll get involved in:The role will provide exposure to a range of Business Excellence activities, including:Process optimisation – understanding how processes work today, identifying opportunities to simplify or improve them, and helping implement better ways of working.Knowledgebase Management – development of sound HALO and Valuation process documentation and work guides.Project delivery – supporting projects from idea through to implementation, working with stakeholders and helping keep activities on track.Business and data analysis – using data, reporting and business insights to diagnose issues, identify opportunities and support better decisions.Systems and technology – working with business and IT teams to understand how systems support our processes and where technology or automation could help.Stakeholder engagement – working with teams across the business to understand their needs, facilitate discussions and help develop practical solutions.Documentation and change – helping document processes, develop new ways of working and support teams through changes.What we’re looking for:We’re interested in people who have some experience or an interest in:Improving processes or finding better ways of workingProcess and work instruction documentationSupporting projects and improvement initiativesWorking with data, reporting or analyticsUnderstanding how systems and technology can support business processesWorking collaboratively with different stakeholders.HALO, Valuations and Valuation support process knowledge is requiredExperience in IT operations, administration or business support would also be beneficialMost importantly, we’re looking for someone who is curious, organised, analytical and comfortable asking questions and learning new things!
