Business Process Analyst- Manufacturing /ERP

The Alchin & Long Group is seeking a motivated Process Analyst to support business process improvement, ERP documentation, training and continuous improvement initiatives across our portfolio of market-leading brands.

This is a hands-on business improvement and systems role working closely with operational teams, managers and stakeholders across sales, purchasing, warehousing, manufacturing and administration functions. You will define and analyse current business and system processes, redesign workflows, develop process documentation, support ERP system enhancements, and assist with user training and change adoption.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining process mapping, ERP systems analysis, problem solving and stakeholder engagement to deliver practical business improvements.

Key responsibilities

Analyse existing business processes, workflows, data flows and operating procedures across multiple business functions.

Review, update and develop process documentation and work instructions aligned to ERP system processes.

Create clear and structured process maps, workflows and business procedures.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Identify process gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for system and operational enhancements.

Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to document current and future-state processes.

Support ERP optimisation initiatives, testing activities and user acceptance processes.

Assist with developing reports, dashboards and business insights to support informed decision-making.

Monitor project actions, issue logs and implementation activities, providing regular progress updates.

Develop and deliver training materials and user training programs to support system adoption and onboarding of New Employees.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects across the group.

Maintain process governance standards and ensure consistency across documentation.

About you

Essential: Demonstrated experience with Epicor ERP or a similar ERP platform, including system implementation, integration, optimisation, or support.

Experience in process analysis, business analysis, continuous improvement or systems implementation roles.

Strong capability in process mapping, workflow design and documentation development.

The ability to analyse complex information and translate it into clear, user-friendly procedures and work instructions.

Experience gathering business requirements and working with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Experience supporting change management, system adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.

High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills.

Experience working with ERP systems, business software implementation or optimisation projects.

Relevant qualifications in Business, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related discipline (preferred).

Experience within manufacturing, warehousing, distribution or operational environments will be highly regarded.
