Job summary

Ambition Recruitment is seeking a Business Process Analyst for an initial 6-month contract in Sydney North Shore, NSW. You will partner with operational leaders to map current-state processes, challenge legacy practices, and design future-state SOPs and operating models to improve productivity and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in process improvement or transformation, strong facilitation skills, and experience in shared services or BPO environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in continuous improvement, process redesign or business transformation.
• Proven ability to map processes and draft comprehensive SOPs/documentation.
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification (Yellow/Green Belt) is a plus.

I am looking to recruit a Business Process Analyst for an initial 6-month contract supporting a key operational excellence / business transformation program. You will partner directly with operational leaders to review current-state workflows, challenge legacy practices, identify efficiencies, and build robust future-state documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess end-to-end operational processes across quality, efficiency, control, and customer experience.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to challenge current ways of working and identify automation or standardisation opportunities.
• Develop clear process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
• Design and implement scalable future-state operating models that lift productivity and compliance.

About you

• 5+ years of experience across continuous improvement, process redesign, or business transformation.
• Proven track record mapping processes and drafting comprehensive SOPs/documentation.
• Lean Six Sigma training or qualifications a bonus - Yellow/Green Belt
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Experience in a business process role within a shared services, service operations, BPO, or offshoring projects is advantageous.
