Job summary

APM is seeking a Business Manager for Inclusive Employment Australia based in St Albans, Australia. You will lead a team of Employment Consultants, drive performance, and ensure contractual compliance while building strong local employer and community relationships.

The role requires strategic thinking, data interpretation, and the ability to foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture. This is a full‑time, on‑site position offering career growth within a global health and human services

About the Role…

As a Business Manager in our Inclusive Employment Australia team, you’ll lead a passionate group of Employment Consultants. Your mission: drive performance, support your team, and deliver life‑changing employment outcomes for job seekers.

Location: St Albans

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Employment Consultants to exceed performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with Inclusive Employment Australia contractual obligations.
• Build strong relationships with local employers, community groups, and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on site performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

Capabilities & Experience

• Experience in Employment Services or clearly demonstrated transferable skills.
• People leadership exposure and/or understanding.
• Strong understanding of Inclusive Employment Australia or related government programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Results-driven mindset with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments.
• Proven experience working in a high-performance driven environment.
• Demonstrable ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Eligibility to meet legislative requirements for clearance to work in the Employment Services programs.

• A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
• A MyGovID (Standard level)
• Willing to complete a National Police Check
• Able to pass a Working with Children Check
• Available towork Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
