Job summary

APM Employment Services is seeking a Business Manager to lead a team of Employment Consultants across the Richmond Region of New South Wales, with coverage in Lismore, Casino, Evans Head and Kyogle. You will drive performance, support your team and deliver life-changing employment outcomes for job seekers.

This role requires strategic thinking, data interpretation and proactive planning to foster inclusive employment and strong local partnerships with employers, communities and government

Qualifications

• Experience in Employment Services or transferable skills.
• People leadership exposure.
• Understanding of Inclusive Employment Australia or related programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments.
• Eligibility to obtain clearance to work in Employment Services programs.
• Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

As a Business Manager in our Inclusive Employment Australia team, you’ll lead a passionate group of Employment Consultants. Your mission: drive performance, support your team, and deliver life-changing employment outcomes for job seekers.

Location & Coverage

This position is responsible for supporting operations across the Richmond Region of New South Wales (NSW), with coverage spanning Lismore, Casino, Evans Headand Kyogle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Employment Consultants to exceed performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with Inclusive Employment Australia contractual obligations.
• Build strong relationships with local employers, community groups, and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on site performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Capabilities & Experience

• Experience in Employment Services or clearly demonstrated transferable skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Results-driven mindset with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments.
• Proven experience working in a high-performance driven environment.
• Demonstrable ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Eligibility to meet legislative requirements for clearance to work in the Employment Services programs.
