Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a BI professional to design, develop and maintain enterprise BI solutions that drive decision making and improve customer outcomes. You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into dashboards and data models while upholding data quality and governance.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in a large public sector environment, delivering clear insights, and applying best practice BI standards to empower better service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in BI development and data visualization.

• Turn data into meaningful, actionable insights.
• Have experience delivering BI solutions in large organisations.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in data analytics, BI or a related field.
• Experience creating visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of data visualisation design principles, standards and best practices.
• Understanding of data warehousing, analytics and reporting processes.
• Experience with data preparation, integration and resolving quality issues.
• Understanding of spatial data concepts, including geospatial formats and projection standards.
