Responsibilities

• Developing new business by identifying and closing deals with mortgage brokers and referral sources.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, accountants, lawyers and financial planners to cross-sell.
• Analyze, assess and manage loan applications from enquiry to settlement across property/construction/investment/business loans.
• Mentor and lead the BD/finance team to achieve targets and maintain high performance.

In this KEY hands-on LEADERSHIP role, as the HEAD of Business Development [Finance] leading a winning team of BD/finance managers, you will love the stimulation+challenge of fully using BOTH your sales + technical finance/credit skills:

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

• Have a degree in finance/commerce (or similar) AND/OR a certificate/diploma of financial services (mortgages or finance) or financial planning (RG146) or similar;


• Have 7+ years’ experience in the lending/mortgages/financial services industry with a proven track‑record in ‘hunter’ sales/ new business development and finance/credit assessment roles[essential];


• Are an ambitious success-driven ‘go-getter’ with a passion for customer service+ getting results AND a strong team player (not ‘me’-centric);


• Have outstanding communication, influencing, negotiation and relationship/people+ leadership skills.
