lyf Elizabeth Melbourne reopened in December 2025 and is now seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager to join our crew. This full time role, managed by The Ascott Limited, focuses on growing accommodation, corporate, group and conferencing business for lyf Elizabeth Melbourne, while supporting sales opportunities across both lyf properties in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development within hospitality, accommodation, conferencing or events.
• Ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline and convert opportunities into business.
• Strong relationship building, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share across both lyf properties in Melbourne
• Driving corporate, accommodation, group, conferencing and event business while proactively identifying and converting new opportunities
• Building strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, event organisers and industry partners to generate repeat and new business
• Conducting site inspections, attending industry events and working with property, revenue, marketing and cluster sales teams to deliver commercial outcomes
