Job summary

Gliderol Garage Doors, part of the global dormakaba Group, is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our NSW residential builder presence.

This growth-focused role allocates roughly 70% of your time to winning new builder accounts and 30% to growing existing customers.

You’ll build relationships with procurement, estimators, contract administrators and site teams across NSW, supported by a collaborative team and a growing brand.

Qualifications

• Proven success in a Business Development, Territory Manager or similar sales role with a strong focus on winning new business.
• Demonstrated experience selling building products, construction solutions or related products into residential builders.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pipeline, forecasting and revenue growth.
• Ability to build credibility and influence across multiple customer stakeholder groups.
• Self-motivated, relationship-driven and team focussed.

Responsibilities

• Win new residential builder customers across NSW through proactive business development and relationship building.
• Develop strong multi-level relationships with procurement, estimating, contracts administration, construction and leadership stakeholders.
• Manage a portfolio focused on approximately 70% new business development and 30% account growth.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline and rolling forecast aligned to growth targets.
• Identify, develop and convert project and specification opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, site visits and commercial reviews across your territory.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and deliver solutions that create long-term customer value.
• Partner with internal sales, service, operations and installation teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Position Overview

Gliderol Garage Doors, part of the global dormakaba Group, is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our presence within the NSW residential builder market.

This is a genuine growth-focused role where approximately 70% of your time will be spent winning new builder accounts and developing strategic opportunities, with the remaining 30% focused on growing existing customers.

You’ll be responsible for building relationships with procurement teams, estimators, contract administrators, site teams and senior decision-makers across some of NSW's leading residential builders. Supported by a collaborative team and a growing brand, you'll have the autonomy to make a genuine commercial impact across a high-potential territory.

What you will do

What we prefer

• Experience within building products, construction materials or related sectors such as windows, doors, roofing, cladding, flooring, kitchens, joinery, insulation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or access solutions.
• Existing exposure to residential builders, developers or the broader construction industry.
• Experience managing a sales portfolio of $3M+ and delivering against growth targets.
• Strong CRM discipline with experience in pipeline management and sales forecasting.
