Are you a results-driven sales professional with a talent for building relationships and closing high-value deals?

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic events business, driving sponsorship and exhibition sales across market-leading events.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Research and identify new business opportunities through proactive lead generation.
• Engage prospects with consultative, solution-focused sales conversations.
• Develop compelling, needs-based proposals and close sponsorship & exhibition deals.
• Build and maintain strong industry relationships, becoming a trusted advisor in your sector.
• Collaborate closely with event and conference teams to maximise client value and event success.
• Manage accounts from initial engagement through to on-site delivery and post-event follow-up.
• Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn to connect, engage, and grow your network.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record in B2B sales – ideally within events, exhibitions, sponsorship, or media.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to consistently exceed revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive in driving opportunities.
• Skilled in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools.
• Comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
