Job summary

Gallagher AU is a global leader in insurance broking, risk management and consulting, with a strong local presence across the Gold Coast and Queensland. The Business Development Executive will drive new business, build client relationships and deliver tailored insurance solutions.

You will manage a portfolio of prospects, develop a sales pipeline, prepare submissions and quotes, and work with clients to ensure regulatory compliance and cross-marketing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High-level presentation and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (preferred).
• Tier 1 qualification is desirable or willingness to complete in first 6 months (Gallagher supported).

A Day in the Life

Your day will involve managing a portfolio of new business prospects, developing and maintaining a sales pipeline through internal referrals and external leads, and preparing submissions and quotes for clients. You’ll work closely with clients to resolve issues, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and identify opportunities for cross-marketing. Staying informed of industry trends and sharing success stories will also be key to your success.
