Job summary

Moran Aged Care is seeking a permanent part-time Bus Driver to join our Accommodation Services team, supporting our Engadine and Sylvania homes. You will safely transport residents to community outings and social activities, while ensuring a positive and welcoming journey for each resident.

Key requirements include a NSW Light Rigid license, excellent communication and customer service, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Light Rigid (LR) Driver Licence.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Australian working rights.
• Current Influenza vaccination.
• Current COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with Moran policy.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting residents and passengers.
• Completing daily vehicle safety inspections and logbooks.
• Conducting scheduled route risk assessments.
• Assisting residents to board and exit the vehicle safely.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and roadworthy bus.
• Engaging and communicating with residents including planned activities.
• Following all road rules and organisational safety requirements.
• Providing friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families and staff.

Job description

We are seeking a permanent part-time Bus Driver to join our Accommodation Services team, supporting our Engadine and Sylvania homes.

This is a varied and rewarding role combining safe resident transportation and interaction with residents. You'll play an important part in ensuring our residents enjoy safe outings while helping maintain welcoming, well-presented environments.

Working hours

4 days per week (Monday - Friday) | 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

What you'll be doing

To be successful, you'll have
