Zusammenfassung

Moran Aged Care is seeking a permanent part-time bus driver to support our Engadine and Sylvania homes. You will safely transport residents to community outings and activities while providing a positive journey for each resident.

Key duties include vehicle safety inspections, assisting residents, and engaging with residents and families. A NSW LR licence, safety awareness, and caring demeanor are essential for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Current NSW Light Rigid (LR) Driver Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Enjoy supporting aged people.
• Good problem-solving ability and sound judgement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Knowledge of aged care (desirable).
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Current Influenza vaccination.
• Current COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with Moran policy.

Aufgaben

• Safely transporting residents and passengers.
• Completing daily vehicle safety inspections and logbooks.
• Conducting scheduled route risk assessments.
• Assisting residents to board and exit the vehicle safely.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and roadworthy bus.
• Engaging and communicating with residents including planned activities.
• Following all road rules and organisational safety requirements.
• Providing friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families and staff.
