Job summary

FedEx Express is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead Bulk operations at the Redbank Depot. You will manage all FedEx products with emphasis on domestic priority and international freight, driving operational excellence and positive team outcomes.

The role requires experience in operations, logistics, leadership, and performance management, with a focus on cost efficiency, service quality, and staff development. The environment is multicultural and performance-driven.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience in an operations environment.
• Knowledge of optimisation processes and business levers.
• Experience in training, coaching and people management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a team of bulk operations staff with clear communication and performance feedback.
• Analyse depot day-to-day results to meet service quality, loss/damage reduction and cost targets.
• Establish a customer-focused culture and implement initiatives to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
• Use standard tools to report, measure and control resources, service performance and costs.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across the depot.
• Initiate optimisation programs to improve unit cost efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve service levels cost-effectively.
