The role combines site visits with technical decision making and customer-facing discussions, offering opportunities for professional growth and contribution to the community.
Bring your building surveying expertise to a role where you can see the impact of your work across the Upper Hunter. Join Council’s Planning, Building & Regulatory Services team and help residents, builders and businesses navigate building requirements with confidence.

You’ll also give clear, practical advice on building, plumbing and drainage requirements, working with customers and colleagues to resolve questions and find workable solutions.
If you enjoy a mix of site visits, technical decisions and conversations with people, you’ll find plenty of variety here.
