Job summary

AusNet is seeking a proactive Building Services Coordinator to oversee facilities across north-east Victorian sites, including CBD, Yarraville and Thomastown. Based in Freshwater Place, Southbank, you’ll ensure workplaces are safe, compliant, well-maintained and operational for staff and contractors.

You’ll coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, work with contractors, manage budgets and drive safety programs while developing strong stakeholder relationships across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or building services.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings (beneficial).
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP/Rapid Global preferred but not essential.
• Current Victorian driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and tracking planned preventative maintenance programs
• Managing workplace maintenance requests and ensuring they are completed within agreed service levels
• Overseeing contractors and supporting workplace health and safety compliance
• Coordinating services including mechanical, electrical, fire, lifts, hydraulics, cleaning, plant and equipment
• Processing invoices and monitoring operational and capital budgets
• Supporting building compliance, safety programs and annual site audits
• Coordinating Emergency Wardens and First Aiders across allocated sites
• Managing maintenance and capital projects from planning through to completion
• Building strong stakeholder relationships and providing responsive customer service
