Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited at Sydney Airport, NSW, is seeking a part-time Cook to support breakfast service in a busy workplace catering environment. You will produce buffet offerings, manage early morning shifts (up to 4 mornings) and some weekends, and handle bulk cooking for large groups while maintaining hygiene and HACCP standards.

The role requires initiative, breakfast/catering/buffet experience, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines; knowledge of WHS and stock/admin

Qualifications

• Breakfast, catering or buffet experience.
• Able to use own initiative to help others and carry out extra tasks.
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen procedures and operations.
• Passion for WHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations.
• Administration skills for ordering, food safety, stock management.

Responsibilities

• Produce buffet offerings for hotel guests.
• Early mornings up to 4 mornings plus some weekend work.
• Bulk cooking for up to 500 guests.
• Cleaning, temperature recording and allergy recording.
