Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a passionate Chef for the RAAF Williamtown site. This full-time role involves bulk cooking, buffet service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and working within a structured roster to support a 7-day operation.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring food quality and safety while collaborating with a professional team across multiple service areas.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery required.
• Experience in commercial kitchens with bulk cooking and à la carte service.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen management.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Reliable, team-focused and safety-conscious.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner and functions.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Support stock control, inventory and kitchen organisation.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and service.
• Work both autonomously and as part of a professional kitchen team.
