Job summary

Programmed GO is seeking a Technical Sales Representative based in Brisbane to drive sales in mining and industrial solutions. You will work directly with maintenance, reliability, engineering and operations teams, spending time on site to understand equipment and maintenance priorities.

With mentoring from the Mining Market Manager and technical specialists, you will develop customer relationships, translate technical concepts to clear value propositions, and manage quotations and development

Qualifications

At least two years' experience in technical sales, industrial services, engineering, maintenance, reliability or a related field.
Mechanical aptitude and an interest in understanding equipment and its applications.
Ability to build credibility with technical and commercial stakeholders.
Initiative and the organisational skills to manage customer activity and opportunities.
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
Experience with bearings, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, condition monitoring or lubrication would be valuable.

Responsibilities

Develop existing customer relationships and win new business across mining and industrial markets.
Visit customer sites, assess applications and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Translate technical recommendations into clear proposals that demonstrate value to customers.
Deliver product presentations and support customer training.
Manage quotations, sales opportunities and customer development plans.
Maintain your pipeline, forecasts and CRM records, following opportunities through to completion.
