Job summary

Viva Energy Australia is seeking a Product & Services Technician based in Perth, Western Australia, to support major mining operations across the Pilbara on an 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster. The role combines mechanical trade expertise with technical problem solving and customer engagement.

You will travel to customer sites to deliver lubrication solutions, service and maintenance for heavy equipment, with a focus on safety and reliability in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (essential).
• Experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment, fixed plant, mining equipment or industrial machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• The ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Willingness and ability to work a FIFO 8/6 roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service and support for specialty lubricant products and lubrication systems.
• Conduct field inspections and maintenance support on heavy mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Support customers across mining, quarrying and industrial operations.
• Diagnose equipment and lubrication-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technical service delivery and sales support activities.
• Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and technical expertise.
• Deliver commercial value through improved equipment reliability and performance.
