Job summary

Agrifutures is seeking an organised Operations & Transport Coordinator to join a busy operational team in Brisbane. This hands-on role keeps transport activities, administration and day-to-day operations running smoothly, working with drivers, subcontractors and internal teams.

The role offers full-time, office-based work with a rotating weekly roster and opportunities to improve processes and implement new software. Brendale office location is noted.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport or logistics is valuable.
• Backgrounds in scheduling, operations, project administration or logistics administration are suitable for fast-paced coordination roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport requirements, including vehicle and driver allocations, scheduling and subcontractor arrangements.
• Communicate with drivers, subcontractors, clients, workshop personnel and internal teams to manage changing operational needs.
• Maintain accurate operational records, documentation, dockets and reports.
• Assist with weighbridge activities and ensure operational information is captured accurately.
• Coordinate information between departments and help resolve day-to-day operational issues.
• Follow established processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Assist with the introduction and implementation of new software and technology.
• Identify ways to reduce duplication, improve communication and streamline administrative processes.
• Provide day-to-day support to operational management.
• Develop an understanding of different areas of the business through training and cross-skilling.
