Job summary

Blue Water Shipping in Brisbane seeks an experienced Logistics Project Coordinator to coordinate all aspects of supply chain for our key client from the Port of Brisbane. Reporting to the Key Account Manager, you will drive long-term growth and oversee multi-modal shipments.

You will manage projects and shipments by road, air, sea or other modes; quote, organise, billing, and documentation; monitor subcontractors and suppliers; ensure ISO and OHSAS compliance and uphold safety and environmental

Qualifications

• 5+ years international logistics experience including import/export.
• Experience with CargoWise and CargoWise reporting.
• ICS experience and data processing skills using Excel.
• English proficiency CEFR Level 5; able to gain clearance and have work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Handle logistics for projects and regular shipments by road, air, sea, or other modes.
• Implement efficient work processes on allocated projects.
• Quote, organise, billing, documentation, and door-to-door shipments.
• Analyse schedule, quality and performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assess supplier/subcontractor performance and ensure ISO and OHSAS directions are followed.
• Maintain safety and environmental targets in daily operations.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Project Coordinator to join the Blue Water Shipping team in our Brisbane based team at the Port of Brisbane.

Reporting to the Key Account Manager, your focus will be managing and coordinating all aspects of Supply Chain to ensure long term success and growth with one of our largest clients.

This position has the potential for professional growth and development as our business continues to succeed.

The principal objectives of this position are:

Handling logistics for projects and regular shipments by road, air, sea, or others

Implementing efficient work processes on allocated projects

Import/Export

Quoting, organising, billing, documentation, operating and executing shipments from door to door (unless otherwise stated)

Analysing schedule, quality and performance of subcontractors and suppliers

Assessing the performance of suppliers/subcontractors

Following ISO and OHSAS directions from the Company

Acting safely always to ensure your own welfare and that of your fellow colleagues on the basis of the defined health & safety targets

Focusing on continuously reducing Blue Water’s environmental impact on the basis of the defined environmental targets

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

5+ years International Logistics experience, Import and Export

Experience in Cargo Wise & Cargo Wise reporting

ICS Experience

Complete understanding of BWS values

English spoken and written – CEFR Level 5

Data compiling and processing skills through Excel

Intermediate Word, and Outlook

Must be able to gain and maintain a Criminal History clearance

Must have the right to live and work in Australia
