Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Albany is seeking a passionate Breakfast Chef to prepare and serve a delicious breakfast buffet for hotel guests. You’ll showcase culinary skills in a friendly, welcoming environment and work closely with the kitchen team to maintain high standards.

You’ll manage the egg station, restock the buffet, follow food safety rules, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Previous hotel or hospitality cooking experience is required, with excellent teamwork and communication

Qualifications

Previous experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
Passion for providing high-quality food and excellent customer service.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold breakfast items for the hotel's buffet, ensuring consistently high quality presentation and taste.
Manage the cooked-to-order egg station, preparing eggs in various styles based on guest preferences.
Restock and replenish the buffet throughout service to maintain full and well-presented offerings.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the wider hotel team to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
