Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a Brand Governance Senior Associate to embed best-practice brand governance across the firm, with a focus on strategy, compliance and execution from Sydney. You’ll build relationships with internal teams, balancing hands-on delivery with strategic influence to protect PwC’s distinctive brand.

Based in Sydney / Gadigal, you’ll drive brand standards across visual identity, naming and campaigns, while collaborating with global networks and external agencies to maximize

Qualifications

  • Formal marketing qualification.
  • 2-4+ years in Brand or Marketing.
  • Experience in brand strategy, execution, compliance and management.
  • Brand standards and visual identity expertise.
  • Stakeholder management at Partner/Senior Manager level.
  • Experience working with designers and/or agencies.
  • Strong peer and senior relationships across complex matrixed organisations.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Proven organizational and project management ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Desirable: ServiceNow/ticketing platforms, audit/compliance frameworks, AI tools for content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Be the key brand governance/compliance expert across Brand Standards – visual identity, co-branding and naming.
  • Provide expert advice and approvals to ensure brand guideline compliance and maximise impact.
  • Implement processes for co-branded initiatives with risk teams to align with global standards.
  • Provide strategic and creative advice on naming, ensuring legal/commercial alignment.
  • Advise on brand considerations for new technology offerings.
  • Monitor and coordinate with external agencies and internal design teams on brand guidelines.
  • Escalate compliance issues identified through brand channel monitoring.
  • Review all social media content.
  • Support Brand Network Standards reporting and governance processes.
  • Develop and implement annual brand governance plan and educate stakeholders.

What you’ll do:
  • Be the key brand governance/compliance expert across all Brand Standards – visual identity, co-brandingand naming.
  • Champion our visual identity across the firm,providingexpert advice, guidance and approvals to our people, Partners, designers (on and offshore)and agencies to ensure compliance with our brand guidelines andmaximisethe impact of our brand.
  • Implement processes and provide advice to our people and Partners on co-branded initiatives across the firm, working alongside other internal business risk teams to ensure adherence to our global network standards, brandguidelinesand policies.
  • Provide strategic and creative advice on all naming enquiries, ensuring any new names for products and servicescomply withour brand network standards and legal requirements, as well as meeting commercialobjectives.
  • Provide brand advice and approval on allnew technologyofferings.
  • Monitor and work alongside external agencies and internal design teams to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and best practice use of our visual identity.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for any compliance related issuesidentifiedthrough brand channel monitoring.
  • Review all social media content.
  • Work alongside members of the broader Business Risk community to ensure our approval processes.
  • Maintain best practice and explore opportunities for streamlining/automation
  • Development and implementation of an annual brand governance plan that covers how we educate,communicateandcomply withour Brand Network Standards. This includes:
  • Ownership and implementation of monthly firmwide internal communications on brand governance, processes, campaign updates,guidelinesand education tools.
  • Ownership and activation of Brand SharePoint site.
  • Maintenance of firmwide templates across Microsoft and Canva as well as all other brand resources.
  • Creation and scaling of brand education content using AI tools.
  • Provide support for all Network Standards reporting.
  • Provide support on campaign management and delivery for all brand campaigns.
  • Act as the AI Champion for the Brand team,identifyingand applying AI-enabled ways of working to scale brand education,governanceand operational efficiency.
What we are looking for:
Core skills
  • Formal marketing (degree)qualification.
  • 2-4+years experiencein a Brand or Marketing role.
  • Experience in brand strategy, execution,complianceand management — an understanding of brand guidelines.
  • Brand standards / visual identityexpertise.
  • Stakeholder management at Partner / Senior Manager level.
  • Experience working with designers and/or agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience developing strong peer and senior relationships across complex large matrixedorganisations.
  • Strong and persuasive verbal,writtenand presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing,negotiationand facilitation skills.
  • Provenorganisationskills and project management ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
