Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management Bathurst is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Bathurst operation with oversight across Dubbo and Mudgee. You’ll drive safety, performance and people leadership in a fast-paced service business.

You’ll manage 30+ staff, coach teams, optimise processes, and ensure compliance with National Heavy Vehicle laws while delivering strong financial results. This is a strategic leadership role in a national, ASX-listed company.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a degree-backed leader with experience managing operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to drive KPIs, cost controls and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch operations ensuring safety and compliance.
• Oversee staff and fleet activities with focus on maintenance and efficiency.
• Coach and empower the team to achieve KPIs and safety standards.
• Champion a safety-first culture and manage regulatory obligations.
• Manage branch P&L, costs, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate with contractors for timely servicing and maintenance.
