IMB Bank is seeking a Branch Manager in the Sutherland Shire to lead a high‑performing team and deliver exceptional member outcomes. You will drive lending growth, manage local lending processes and strengthen community connections.

You will coach and develop staff, foster a customer‑focused culture and partner with local businesses to grow the IMB presence in the Sutherland Shire, aligning with regulatory standards and brand commitments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in achieving lending growth and writing and managing residential home loans from application to settlement.
• Leadership experience with a strong track record of coaching, motivating and developing teams.
• Experience within banking, financial services, or a customer‑focused environment.
• A genuine passion for customer service and building long‑term relationships.
• Strong business development and networking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and supporting business growth.
• Sound understanding of operating within a regulated environment.

Responsabilités

• Drive lending growth, build referral networks and create exceptional member outcomes
• Managing the loan process from completing loan interviews, processing applications through to assessment and approval
• Being prepared to serve member needs how they want to engage with IMB; including local face to face members, digitally driven interactions and phone calls
• Generating new lending opportunities through proactive business development activities
• Leading, coaching and developing a small team to achieve lending, deposit, service, business and employee growth objectives
• Creating a positive, customer‑focused culture that helps more members achieve home ownership
• Proactively identifying opportunities to support members and small businesses with lending and broader banking solutions
• Building relationships with members, referral partners, local businesses and community networks
• Managing day‑to‑day branch operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk requirements
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the broader IMB network to deliver positive outcomes for members

About the Role
