IMB Bank in Moruya is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a high-performing team, grow a local lending book and deliver exceptional member experiences. This hands-on lender-leader role focuses on community impact and strong customer outcomes.

You will drive mortgage growth, coach staff, and partner with local businesses to strengthen the IMB presence while maintaining regulatory compliance and a customer-first culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in achieving lending growth and writing and managing residential home loans from application to settlement.
• Leadership experience with coaching, motivating and developing teams.
• Experience within banking, financial services, or a customer-focused environment.
• A genuine passion for customer service and building long-term relationships.
• Strong business development and networking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and supporting business growth.
• Sound understanding of operating within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive lending growth, build referral networks and create exceptional member outcomes.
• Manage the loan process from loan interviews, processing applications through to assessment and approval.
• Serve member needs across face-to-face, digital and phone interactions as IMB evolves.
• Generate new lending opportunities through proactive business development activities.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team to achieve lending, deposit, service and growth goals.
• Create a positive, customer-focused culture that helps members achieve home ownership.
• Identify opportunities to support members and small businesses with lending and broader banking solutions.
• Build relationships with members, referral partners, local businesses and community networks.
• Manage day-to-day branch operations while ensuring regulatory and risk compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the IMB network to deliver positive outcomes.
