Job summary

Burns Executive Services PTY LTD is seeking a strategic Site Manager to take full responsibility for the Brisbane site, overseeing sales, customer service, operations and financial performance.

You will lead the Office, Factory and Transport Managers, drive revenue growth, manage budgets and margins, and build a high-performing team while ensuring safety and quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the roofing, building or construction products industry.
• Proven track record in customer sales and service with established trade relationships.
• Understanding of budgets and financial results or willingness to learn.
• Leadership experience or strong desire to step into a management role.
• Genuine interest in building, motivating and developing a team.
• Sound commercial judgement and commitment to results.
• Clear, direct communication and ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Manufacturing experience is an advantage.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have full responsibility for the site - sales, customer service, operations and financial performance. You will lead the Office, Factory and Transport Managers and directly manage the sales function, with the opportunity to grow the sales team as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

Take full accountability for the site P&L - set the annual budget, report monthly results and deliver on targets

Drive sales growth - set targets, build a customer pipeline, grow key accounts and win new customers

Deliver excellent customer service and consistent, quality product

Improve gross margin through pricing, purchasing and cost control

Manage stock levels, debtor collections and supplier terms

Lead, coach and hold your managers accountable to clear KPIs

About you
