Willmot Construction Recruitment seeks an experienced Roofing Manager (Operations) for the Gold Coast. You will lead roofing operations, internal teams and subcontractors, delivering residential and commercial projects safely and within budgets.

Key responsibilities include workforce growth, project delivery, cost management, and clear communication with stakeholders. A senior leadership role based in Nerang with a lucrative package and bonus incentives.

Roofing Manager (Operations) - Commercial & Residential Projects

A fantastic newly created opportunity for an experienced manager in the roofing industry on the Gold Coast. The company has been trading successfully in this space for over 10 years and due to continued success and a buoyant workload is now looking for a senior manager to run the business unit. This is a key leadership appointment, with responsibility for building dependable teams and delivering roofing projects safely, efficiently and within approved budgets.

In this position, you will lead the existing Roofing Operations, internal roofing teams and subcontractor crews, supported by businesses established operations and administration teams. In brief, the focus will be across:

Building and leading the workforce - develop a workforce growth plan aligned with workload, location and project requirements, covering crew composition, supervision, recruitment timing, vehicles and equipment.

Managing project delivery - residential and commercial installation, replacement, repair and defect work through ROLs and leading hands, from site readiness to completion.

Costs and resources – management of budgets against allowances and identify overruns early and recommend corrective action

Communication and working relationships – staff and subcontractors and senior management

To be suitable for this role it is anticipated you will possess the following:

Demonstrated experience managing residential and commercial roofing across multiple crews and sites, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to assess workmanship and delivery risks.

A record of recruiting, onboarding and retaining employees and contractors, supported by established roofing industry relationships.

Experience managing programmes, labour, resources and job costs, and developing capable supervisors and leading hands.

Clear communication with crews, builders, clients and management; sound judgement, effective delegation and consistent follow-through.

This is a senior management position, located out of their offices in Nerang. You will be awarded a remuneration package with bonus scheme in line with this. approx$160,000 to $200,000+Super Company vehicle, fuel card, toll pass, mobile phone, laptop & significant bonus incentives based on performance.
