Job summary

Bayset Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a Branch All Rounder to support the counter and warehouse at Burleigh. You will deliver outstanding customer service in person and over the phone, manage stock movements, and assist with daily showroom and stock tasks.

The role requires forklift and driving capabilities, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Training and development are supported within a positive branch culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sales focused customer service at the trade counter and over the phone.
• Picking and packing orders, plus courier and transport documentation.
• Receiving, unpacking and storing incoming goods.
• Showroom housekeeping and product display maintenance.
• Delivery of customer orders and stock movement tracking.
• Use computer systems to locate stock codes, locate orders and track back orders.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure timely product collection.
• Assist Branch Manager with stock checks.

Branch All Rounder / Trade Counter Sales Representative

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Branch All Rounder to support on the counter and in our warehouse at our centrally located Burleigh branch on the stunning Gold Coast. This is a varied role, and no two days will be the same as you provide exceptional customer service to our customers both in the branch and over the phone.

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are definitely not limited to:

• Sales focused customer service both over the trade counter and phone while providing exceptional customer service
• Picking & packing of orders including courier and transport documentation.
• Receiving, unpackingand storage of incoming goods.
• Housekeeping and maintenanceof the showroom.
• Delivery of customer orders.
• Operate computer software to locate stock codes, checkpurchase orders, track back orders, locate and track stock movements and transfers.
• Work closely with our sales and operations team to ensure timely collection of products and services.
• Assist the Branch Manager with periodic stock checks.

About you:

• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be able to multitask and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Be highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Knowledge of the building and construction industry would be an asset.
• Be comfortable being on the phone speaking with customers and existing clients.
• Be highly motivated to continually exceed our customers' expectations, support company driven initiatives, and become an integral part of our team.
• Be willing to do all the little things for your customers so that they can stay focused on their big picture and get the job done.
• Hold a current forklift licence.
