Job summary

Bayset is seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to support our Distribution Centre in Coopers Plains, Brisbane. You will handle receiving, packing, despatch, and stock movements as part of a hands-on warehouse team.

The role requires a current forklift licence and a valid QLD driver's licence, plus strong communication and teamwork. Previous warehouse experience is preferred and you will contribute to a safe, efficient operation and excellent service to branches.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, unpacking and storage of incoming goods.
• Picking and packing of orders and despatch to branches.
• Checking picked orders, invoicing and branch transfers.
• Housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse area.
• Assist with periodic stock checks with the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Operate forklifts/machinery to move goods.
• Perform deliveries of customer orders when required.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced WarehouseStoreperson to support our main Distribution Centre in Coopers Plains. Alongside the warehouse team you will be responsible for general warehouse responsibilities such as picking, packing and receiving/despatch of goodsto the warehouse. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include, but are definitely not limited to:

• Receiving, unpackingand storage of incoming goods
• Picking and packing of orders
• Checking picked orders, invoicing and branch transfers
• Housekeeping and maintenanceof the warehouse area
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with periodic stock checks
• Adhering to warehousing and inventory procedures
• Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries
• Use of forklifts/machinery to move goods
• Operate computer software to locate stock codes, checkpurchase orders, track back orders, locate and track stock movements and transfers
• Performing deliveries of customer orders where required

About you:

To be successful in this position you will:

• Have a current forklift licence;
• Have a current QLD Drivers Licence;
