Job summary

North Byron Hotel in Byron Bay is seeking an experienced Bottleshop Manager to lead the day-to-day retail operation. Based at 61 Bayshore Drive, you will drive performance, manage a high-performing team and oversee beverage offerings, supplier relationships and retail standards.

The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a bottleshop or high-volume hospitality department.
• Strong knowledge of beverage products and customer service standards.
• Proven financial acumen with budgets, COGS and P&L awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the retail team to deliver exceptional service.
• Drive sales, profitability, labour performance and expense control.
• Manage beverage listings, stock, supplier relationships and pricing.
• Review financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop operational procedures and service standards.
• Build relationships with guests, team, suppliers and the local community.
• Support promotions, events and retail marketing initiatives.
