Star Liquor in Rockhampton/Yeppoon area is seeking a Retail Manager to lead day-to-day store operations and drive exceptional customer service.

You will coach teams, manage stock, pricing and displays, and support satellite sites while aligning with group strategies and policies. The role requires weekend/evening work and the ability to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the smooth-running operations of the store(s).
• Enhance team customer service ethos and train staff in service, display and management.
• Assist other local sites with satellite store management needs.
• Liaise with the team business coach on retail operational matters.
• Monitor defined HR policies and procedures.
• Responsible for all retail staff.
• Prepare displays and present stock, including specials and ticket writing.
• Ensure staff are informed of day-to-day duties.
• Price stock and maintain stock control.
• Pick stock for internal transfers.
• Maintain cellar or liquor store in good order with high cleanliness.
• Monitor staff presentation and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Exciting news!!! Star Liquor is looking for the next superstar to join Queensland's largest independent liquor group as a Retail Manager in Rockhampton/Yeppoon area!

Main Duties:

Managing the smooth-running operations of our liquor store(s) to the highest standards.

Creating and enhancing our teams customer service ethos, imparting your liquor industry knowledge in the crucial areas of customer service, product display and management, team building and marketing implementation.

Assisting other local sites with the management needs of satellite stores.

Liaise with the team business coach in relation to any retail operational matters.

Monitoring defined Human Resource Management Policies and Procedures

Responsible for all retail staff

Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials and ticket writing

Ensuring that staff are informed of day-to-day duties

Pricing of stock and maintaining stock control

Picking stock for internal transfers

Maintain cellar or liquor store in good order with a high standard of cleanliness

Monitoring defined staff presentation and grooming standards

Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested by management

Experience required:
