Big W is seeking a Category Manager for Books to lead day-to-day commercial trading from sourcing to stock management. You will manage approximately a thousand SKUs monthly, selecting top titles, placing new releases and replenishment orders, and monitoring stock availability and margins.

You will collaborate with publishers, suppliers, and internal marketing and rewards teams to create promotions that drive sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail buying or product management with category trading.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to read P&L statements.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end category trading for Books, including 1000 SKUs monthly.
• Review, select top titles, place new release and replenishment orders.
• Negotiate marketing support and run promotional campaigns with internal teams.
