Officeworks is seeking a commercially savvy Category Manager to own a dynamic Technology portfolio. You will develop category strategies, drive supplier partnerships and shape the customer experience across all channels in a fast-paced retail environment.

Competenze

• Significant experience in category management, buying, merchandising or a related commercial retail environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth, profitability and commercial outcomes.
• Experience developing category strategies and translating insights into actionable plans.

• Develop and execute category strategies and trade plans that deliver sales, profit and market share growth.
• Identify customer, market and technology trends to shape a compelling category proposition across all channels.
• Lead range reviews, pricing strategies, promotional activity and product lifecycle management.
• Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships, leading commercial negotiations and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Use customer, competitor and trading insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and optimise category performance.
• Partner with teams across Planning, Marketing, Inventory, Finance, Online and Operations to bring category strategies to life.
• Drive innovation through new products, services and category initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
• Coach and support team members while contributing to a high-performing and collaborative category team.
