Queensland Government's Precincts and Venues team is seeking a Booking Coordinator to lead the bookings team, deliver high-quality booking services, and promote the venue to clients, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality and timely responses.
You will write reports and submissions on booking matters, collaborate with staff and clients, ensure payments and records compliance, and may travel regionally to support venues.

This is completed through face-to-face contact by promoting participation in sports and racing activities where products and services are tailored to cater for each individual at every level of participation.
Sport and Racing delivers quality services by providing responsive and integrated support services for sport, recreation and racing opportunities for all Queenslanders.
The team drives grassroots sport participation across the State through programs and services while also delivering the capital planning, build and maintenance program for the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games (the Department).
Ultimately the Department plays a key role in enabling Queensland's Sport Strategy and delivering the Government's commitments and priorities. Sport and Racing supports and encourages participation and success in sport, active recreation and racing.
This service delivery role provides coordinated and structured advice, support and services to the venue's clients. As a customer support professional you will lead your team to provide information to clients in response to enquiries and requests specific to the venue's products and services.
The position may undertake travel to city, regional and remote locations including overnight stays and will require occasional travel to remote locations including overnight stays. Some communities have alcohol management plans and restrictions in place.
