Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking trade-qualified Boilermakers for field service across our equipment at mining sites in Queensland. You will service, repair and commission our fixed plant equipment, deliver safe, high-quality work and provide responsive technical support to customers.

You will work in workshop and on customer sites, with OEM standards, focusing on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We offer competitive remuneration and benefits, including salary packaging and career development

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker.
• Experience in field service and fixed plant equipment in mining.
• Wash plant experience preferred.
• Computer literacy and proficient documentation.
• Strong communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely service and repair FLS equipment in the field and workshop.
• Provide photographic reports and client recommendations.
• Support commissioning, maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
• Deliver excellent customer service, time management, and planning.
• Attend breakdowns and ensure high equipment availability.

Job description

Build your field service career with a global OEM.

We are seeking trade-qualified Boilermakers to join our team.

In this hands-on role, you will support FLS equipment workshop operations. You will be a key point of contact for our customers, providing responsive technical support and delivering safe, high-quality work to OEM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely service and repair all FLS Equipment in a timely manner and to an OEM standard.

• Provide photographic reports and recommendations to clients and ensuring a high level of Customer Satisfaction is achieved.

• To support our customers with commissioning and general maintenance, servicing and repairs of our fleet of equipment.

• Deliver a high level of customer service, time management, work planning and self-management

• Undertake routine inspections and servicing, attend breakdowns and working to ensure a high level of equipment availability both in the workshop and on customer sites.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A relevant trade qualification as a Boilermaker.

• Previous field service experience & experience working with fixed plant equipment in mining or mineral processing.

• Wash plant experience preferred

• Computer literacy

• Good presentation & effective organisational skills

• Dedication to safety and compliance

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to work with customers, contractors and other personnel daily.
