Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking a skilled Site Service Fitter to join our high-performing team. You’ll work on major mining sites Monday to Friday, with all travel covered and a company-provided work ute.

You will conduct inspections, service and repair on customer sites and in workshops, respond to breakdowns, and maintain equipment availability while upholding safety protocols. Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in mechanical engineering and a valid driver's licence.
• Hands-on experience with screens, centrifuges, sizers, crushers and centrifugal pumps.
• Proven field service experience in mining.
• Clean track record in the mining industry.
• Proficient computer literacy for reports and communication.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Mechanical trade qualifications (essential) and valid Driver's Licence
• Hands-on experience with screens and centrifuge, sizers and crushers and centrifugal pumps (Krebs, Warman, Metso)
• Previous experience in a field service role
• Clean track record in the mining industry
• Computer literacy for report generation and communication
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving work requirements
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
