Job summary

Pace Appointments is seeking experienced Boilermakers/Fabricators to join a modern workshop environment in Toowoomba. You will fabricate, weld, repair and assemble heavy transport equipment and steel structures while prioritising safety and quality.

Reading engineering drawings, performing MIG/TIG/Stick welding, and maintaining high workmanship standards are key. A current licence and reliable transport are required. Overtime and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator (Certificate III Engineering Fabrication Trade preferred).
• Strong workshop-based welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld steel components and structures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers/Fabricators to join a busy and modern workshop environment. Working as part of a skilled team, you will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, repair, and assembly of heavy transport equipment and steel structures while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld steel components and structures
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding to a high standard
• Carry out repairs, modifications and refurbishment work
• Work efficiently to production schedules and deadlines
• Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail

About You To be successful, you will have
