Job summary

Express Employment Professionals – Rocklea QLD is seeking a Trade Qualified Boilermaker to lead fabrication for 4WD conversion projects and supervise apprentices in a busy Rocklea workshop.

You will read drawings, oversee welds, maintain quality, and ensure safe workshop practices while delivering hands-on fabrication in a specialised workshop environment.

This permanent role offers a 7:30am–4:30pm schedule and a 9‑day fortnight roster with a rostered day off.

Qualifications

• Recognised boilermaking trade qualification.
• Strong welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
• Confidence leading and mentoring apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and fabrication for 4WD conversion projects.
• Organise daily workshop tasks and oversee apprentices.
