Job summary

Brisbane Metal Fabrication Pty Ltd in Rocklea is seeking a skilled Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our growing team. You will read drawings, fabricate a range of steel products, and weld components using MIG; TIG experience would be an advantage.

This role offers a mornings shift Monday-Thursday 5:30am-2:00pm and Friday 5:30am-11:30am, with the chance to contribute ideas and help deliver high-quality results in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Reading fabrication drawings and interpreting specifications.
• Experience with MIG welding and fabricating steel components.
• TIG welding experience is an advantage.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings


• Fabricating a variety of steel products


• Welding components using mainly MIG welding (TIG experience would be an advantage)


• Problem-solving fabrication challenges


• Contributing ideas and improvements during team discussions

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Trade Certificate in Boilermaker / Fabrication


• Experience in steel fabrication and welding


• The ability to read and interpret drawings


• A strong work ethic and pride in your workmanship


• A current driver's licence or reliable transport to our Rocklea workshop

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 5:30am - 2:00pm
Friday: 5:30am - 11:30am
