Job summary

Wilmar Sugar is seeking a maintenance professional for the Proserpine Mill on a permanent full-time basis. The role follows a year-round day work roster and may require some weekend work and overtime, with the Whitsunday region offering a coastal lifestyle and access to beaches and reef.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade is required.
Medium rigid truck licence (MR) with willingness to obtain one is required.
Manual driver's licence is required; extra certificates are advantageous (Basic Rigger, Dogger HRWL).

Responsibilities

Carry out repairs and modifications to rail infrastructure, including general fabrication.
Provide guidance, active involvement and coaching to ensure safe working procedures are achieved.
Assist in identifying the scope of work and ensure work orders and permits are completed accurately and on time.
Conduct inspections and implement improvements to uphold the highest quality standards in a collaborative environment.
