Job summary

Wilmar Sugar & Renewables in Proserpine is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to maintain and improve cane rail infrastructure, including fabrication and repairs. This permanent full-time role sits at our Proserpine Mill, on a year-round day work roster with possible weekend work and overtime.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade is required.
Current MR truck licence (or willingness to obtain one).
Manual driver's licence required.
Basic Rigger and Dogger HRWL would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Keep Things Running Smoothly: Carrying out repairs and modifications to all rail infrastructure, including general fabrication.
Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance, active involvement and coaching in ensuring safe working procedures are achieved.
Scope Work: Assisting in identifying the scope of work, ensuring work orders and permits are completed accurately and on time.
Uphold Quality and Teamwork: Work collaboratively, conduct inspections, identify problems, and implement improvements to ensure high quality standards.
