Job summary

Glencore Australia is seeking an experienced CHPP Boilermaker to support maintenance at the Oaky Creek Coal CHPP. You will perform planned, preventive and breakdown maintenance, fabrications and repairs, and inspections to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.

The role reports to the CHPP Senior Maintenance Engineer and requires a strong safety mindset. The position is permanent full-time on an even-time 7/7 roster, with competitive mining salary increases and a coal bonus, plus various

Qualifications

• Experience in CHPP maintenance environments.
• Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification.
• Current Standard 11 (Surface) or ability to obtain.
• Strong problem-solving, fault-finding and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical maintenance support to the CHPP to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on CHPP equipment.
• Fabrication, remediation and repair work across the CHPP.
• Complete routine inspections and mechanical servicing activities.
• Maintain high workmanship standards while complying with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and promote safe work practices.
