Hort Enterprises Pty Ltd in New South Wales is seeking a motivated Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator to join our team. This early-career role focuses on consolidating trade skills and working on diverse, practical projects in a supportive environment.

You will fabricate, assemble, repair and maintain components, read engineering drawings, and perform welding and heat-treating with Stick, MIG, TIG, oxy cutting, and air arc gouging.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or recognised trade equivalent.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Practical understanding of standard fabrication methods, tools, and drawing interpretation.
• Strong safety focus, reliable work ethic, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, repair, and maintain structural components and machinery.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Execute precise cutting, shaping, bending, and heat-treating of metal products.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, safety-focused Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator to join our team. This role is structured for an early-career tradesperson looking to consolidate their trade skills and work on diverse, practical projects in a supportive team environment.

Working alongside our experienced Tradespeople, Leading Hands and Supervisors, you will perform fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, repair, and maintain structural components and machinery.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Execute precise cutting, shaping, bending, and heat-treating of metal products.
