Job summary

Insulect in Australia is seeking a skilled welder to join our on-site team in Sydney. You will weld a wide range of light to medium components, ensure welding standards are followed, and plan, organise and prepare for welding work.

You will uphold WHS policies, work well with an energetic team, and demonstrate a trade qualification as a ticketed welder, with experience in stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel and MIG/TIG processes.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a ticketed welder.
• Experience in stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel with quality welding ability.
• Proven MIG and TIG experience and ability to read technical drawings.

Suitable applicants will possess the following qualities:

Trade qualification as a ticketed welder (this will be required to be presented at the interview)

Proven competencies in Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Mild Steel, with high-quality welding ability

Proven MIG and TIG experience

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

Proven problem-solving skills

Well-presented and professional in all aspects

Commitment to the highest WHS and environment standards in all activities, with the ability to apply workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Commitment to quality workmanship and concern for job turnaround and customer downtime

Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic

Ability to follow instructions
