Qualifications

• Perform maintenance and repair work during wash plant and dragline shutdowns.
• Carry out fixed and mobile plant maintenance and repairs.
• Complete fabrication and welding work to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work during wash plant and dragline shutdowns


• Carry out fixed and mobile plant maintenance and repairs


• Complete fabrication and welding work to a high standard


• Maintain compliance with site safety, quality and environmental requirements

What we’re looking for

• Current boilermaker trade qualifications and certification


• Proven boilermaking, fabrication and welding experience within industrial or mining environments


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced mine-site environment


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship


• Willingness to work across various mine-site locations


• Flexibility to work varying casual project and shutdown schedules

The successful candidate will

• Hold a current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Statement of Attainment


• Be able to pass an FCAW butt weld test to ISO standards and a custom fabrication skills test


• Hold Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets a plus
