ARRC Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Board and Executive Coordinator to support the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team. The role focuses on governance, meeting coordination, recordkeeping and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced environment.
You will manage agendas, minutes and reporting cycles, ensuring compliance and high professional standards across the organisation. The position requires discretion, autonomy and superior communication.
Location: Bundall / Stapylton, Gold Coast
ARRC Gold Coast is delivering one of Australia's most significant circular economy and resource recovery projects. We are seeking an experienced Board and Executive Coordinator with strong governance and executive support experience to work closely with the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team, providing high-level governance, board and executive support across the organisation. This is a critical role at the centre of ARRC, offering the opportunity to influence governance outcomes and support executive decision‑making in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
The Advanced Resource Recovery Centre, or ARRC, is transforming how the Gold Coast manages its waste and turns it into value. Owned by the City of Gold Coast, this $1.6 billion precinct is set to become one of the world’s first planned waste and energy precincts – providing Gold Coast residents a new value‑for‑money and environmentally responsible way to manage our region’s waste. It will also divert up to 97% of the waste currently sent to landfill.
Progressively rolling out during the next six years, our initial focus is three integrated but distinct facilities – ARRC Organics, ARRC Recycling and ARRC Energy. The three facilities will process the waste from your green, yellow, and red bins, respectively. In fact, ARRC Organics in Yatala is already doing just that.
ARRC is also developing a circular economy innovation park (ARRC Innovation) and community hub (ARRC Hub) as well as looking at opportunities to decarbonise the City’s vehicles through ARRC Hydrogen.
Creating jobs for more than 2,000 people during construction and 350 people during operation, ARRC is being designed from the ground up to achieve the very best circular economy outcomes for our region.
While ARRC’s corporate office is based in Bundall, the ARRC precinct is located primarily in Stapylton, the Gold Coast’s premiere industrial precinct and a Queensland Government identified Recycling Enterprise Area.
